In a thrilling display of intellect and environmental awareness, Cygnet Public School clinched the coveted trophy at 'Quizzard 3.0', the third edition of the annual interschool quiz competition. The event was organised by the Eco Club of Dr Cyrus S Poonawalla School CBSE Rasta Peth, Pune-11 on July 26, 2025, to commemorate Nature Conservation Day. Pune International School secured the runner-up position after a nail-biting final round.

The competition brought together bright young minds from 14 prestigious schools across Pune, creating a vibrant atmosphere of intellectual fervor. The event aimed to sensitize students to the critical importance of conservation, sustainability, and biodiversity in an engaging and competitive format.

The quiz was expertly conducted by renowned quiz master, Mr. Shubham K. Pandey, whose challenging questions and dynamic presentation kept both the participants and the audience captivated. The rounds covered a wide spectrum of topics, from Indian wildlife and global environmental treaties to recent developments in green technology. The visual and rapid-fire rounds, in particular, tested the teams' agility and depth of knowledge.

"The depth of knowledge displayed by these young minds is truly commendable," stated Mrs. Kajal S Somai, Principal after the event. "It shows that the future of environmental stewardship is in very capable hands. The enthusiasm was palpable."

The final round saw a close contest between Cygnet Public School and Pune International School, with the lead changing hands several times. Ultimately, the team from Cygnet Public School held their nerve to answer the deciding question, erupting in celebration.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winning and runner-up teams were awarded trophies and certificates. The Eco Club's initiative was widely praised as a resounding success, effectively blending education with excitement and reinforcing the collective responsibility towards protecting our planet.

School's ECO Club & Literary Club organized Inter-School Debate Championship 2024. The event was graced by Ms. Rashmi Singh (Life Coach) & Mr. Abhishek Gupta (Automobile Engineer) as Esteemed Judges.
