Teachers' Day Celebration

Every year, on the 5th of September, students and staff at CES's Dr. Cyrus S. Poonawalla English Medium High School & Junior College, CBSE come together to celebrate Teacher's Day, a day dedicated to honoring the invaluable contributions of our educators. This year's celebration was particularly special as it was a surprise event organized entirely by the students, filled with heartfelt activities and events that made the day unforgettable.

The event involved a lot of activities designed & dedicated for teachers:- 

1. Inspirational Speeches:

The day began with an inspiring speech that set the tone for the entire celebration. The students, eloquently expressed the significance of teachers in our lives and emphasized the need to show gratitude and respect for their dedication and hard work. Speeches were amazing and inspiring.

2. Captivating Dance Performances:

Following the speech, a mesmerizing dance performances by the talented students of school was organized. These dances not only entertained but also conveyed the deep appreciation and admiration students have for their teachers.

3. Teacher's Day Drama:

One of the highlights of the celebration was a drama performance put on by the students. Through their acting skills, they depicted heartwarming and humorous scenarios from the school life, illustrating the positive impact of teachers. The drama brought laughter and tears, touching everyone's hearts. The drama was the inspirational role of teacher in shaping the successful life of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

4. Interviews of Teachers:

The head girl and head boy took center stage to conduct interviews with the teachers. Names were drawn randomly from a bowl of chits, adding an element of surprise. These interviews allowed the teachers to share their experiences, wisdom, and stories, deepening the bonds between teachers and students.

5. Personalized Adjectives:

Each teacher was given a chit with a carefully chosen adjective that described them. This heartwarming gesture demonstrated the uniqueness and value of each teacher in the eyes of their students.

6. Musical Chairs and Prizes:

The celebration concluded with a lighthearted game of musical chairs, where teachers participated enthusiastically. Laughter filled the room as they vied for the coveted prize awarded to the winner, adding a fun and competitive edge to the festivities.

7. A Surprise from Students:

What made this Teacher's Day celebration even more special was that it was a complete surprise, meticulously organized by the students themselves. The effort and love put into planning and executing the event were evident, leaving teachers deeply touched and appreciative of their students' thoughtful gestures.

 Conclusion:
